Acura realized it would be a waste of time and resources to create the handling qualities of a new vehicle's suspension if they were going to exclude the influence of its Original Equipment tires. So careful research from the beginning of every car and SUV's development process was conducted in labs, tracks and on roads. Acura engineers teamed up with the original equipment manufacturers to create a tire that optimized performance features of Acura vehicles such as the RDX, MDX and Integra. The goal was to make sure that the tires developed for the vehicles provided the right balance of performance, comfort, wear, and fuel economy.
Non OE Tire Options:
Other options besides Acura original tires are available at Piazza Acura of West Chester. These tires may share some similarities of the original tires, but because of the various design elements, they may perform differently, potentially altering the ride comfort, interior noise level, wear rate, fuel economy, steering feel, snow traction, wet and dry handling and braking performance that one can be used to.
